SALIENT FEATURES OF THE SCHOOL

GENERAL

Indian Military school, Pulgaon is a Residential Military School. Here, apart from academic classes, Students are also imparted military training in the form of Drill, P.T, Games, Sports, Camps etc. For this purpose, military instructors have been appointed.

HOUSE SYSTEM

In order to inculcate team spirit among students, the students have been divided into four houses in the hostel. These houses have been named after great Indian warriors- Ashoka, Chandragupta, Rana pratap and Shivaji. Students from each class are divided into these four houses.

SPORTS AND EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES.

In order to develop team spirit and competition among students, inter-house sports competitions like Football, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Boxing, Cross Country, Athletics, Obstacle Competition etc. are organised. Debate, Drill and other extra curricular activities are also held.

SUPERVISED STUDY CLASSES.

The academic classes are held from 8.30 am to 2.30 pm. Study periods supervised by teachers are also conducted everyday.

MESS FACILITY.

The school has an excellent mess which provides breakfast, lunch, dinner, milk in milk break during classes and snacks in the evening.

ATAL TINKERING LAB.

State of the art Atal Tinkering lab has been established in the school with latest tools and gadgets which includes 3D printers.

NDA COACHING CLASSES.

The school also runs coaching classes for written NDA exam and also for SSB interviews for students of XI and XII. Students are also trained in English speaking so that they are able to face interviews of all types of competitive exams.
